BRINE;
In saucepan mix and bring to a boil:
4 cups sugar
2 cups vinegar
3 tbsp.. coarse salt
1 tsp.. tumeric
1 tsp.. celery salt
1 tsp.. mustard seed

Directions:
Directions:
Fill large container (usually an ice cream bucket ) with thinly sliced cucumbers and onions. I also add one head of cauliflower broken down into little flowerets.

Pour over sliced veggies, mix well and refrigerate. They are ready to eat in a few days.

We love these pickles with a grilled cheese or fried egg sandwich.
You might need 2 batches of brine.
