1/2 c. butter or margarine
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped nuts
10 oz. box frozen strawberries, slightly thawed
2 egg whites
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. sugar
1 c. Cool Whip
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Mix together butter, brown sugar, flour and nuts. Pat mixture into a 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350º for 5 minutes. Crumble crust in bottom of pan and reserve 1/4 c. crumbs of for later. Bake another 10 minutes until brown. Cool. Beat strawberries, egg whites, lemon juice and sugar in a large bowl for 20 minutes. Add Cool Whip and vanilla. Spread evenly over crust. Sprinkle reserved crust crumbs on top.
