2 lbs ground round

1 lb ground turkey

1/2 cup chili powder

1 lg Vidalia onion

1 green pepper

1/4 minced garlic

1/2 tsp pepper

1 tsp salt

1 tsp sugar

2 tbsp olive oil

1 32oz can whole peeled tomatoes

2 16oz cans of stewed tomatoes

1 32 oz can light red kidney beans (drained)

1 cup parmesan cheese

2 cups shredded cheese

16 oz elbow macaroni on the side


Directions:
Directions:
Saute olive oil, salt, sugar, pepper, garlic and onion. (Place on the side when lightly browned)

Brown meat separately then add chili powder in a dutch oven size pot.

Combine tomatoes, beans and spices to the meat mixture.

Cook over medium heat for 1 hr then simmer for 1/2 hr

You can always add corn if desired and pasta to serve more portions.

Sprinkle parmesan cheese and add shredded cheese if desired.
