2 cups of sugar
3 cups of flour
1 1/2 sticks of butter, softened
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix sugar, flour and softened butter with mixer til very fine crumbs. Take 1 cup of mixture and set aside.

Add eggs, buttermilk, vanilla & baking soda to the remaining crumb mixture and mix with mixer til consistency of cake batter.
Pour into greased & floured 9 x 13 pan and sprinkle remaining crumbs over top of cake.

Bake 35 - 40 mins or until toothpick comes out clean.º
