1 qt. peaches
2 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
pinch of salt
Enough milk to make a medium-stiff batter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the peaches and 1 cup of sugar with water and cook in on the stovetop for 10 minutes. Spread peach mixture in bottom of pan.

Mix flour, baking powder, salt and 1 cup of the sugar with enough milk to make a medium-stiff batter. Melt 1 stick of butter in a pan and add to batter
Spread batter over the top of fruit.

Bake in 350 ° oven until done (about 30 minutes).
