3 cups all purpose flour
4 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
3/4 tsp cream of tartar
3/4 cup butter
1 1/4 buttermilk or 1 cup milk
1/4 cup whipping cream

Directions:
Directions:
1. In a large bowl stir together four, baking powder, sugar, salt and cream of tartar.
2. Cut in butter until you achieve a coarse crumbs.
3. Make a well in center, and add buttermilk, and cream. Stir with a fork until just moistened.
4. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto lightly greased baking sheet.
5. Bake in a 450º oven for 10-12 mins or until golden. Remove immediately from baking sheet, and serve.

Freeze a stick of butter, and shred needed amount, and skip the cutting in step.
