6 egg yolks
1/2 cup cold water
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. lemon extract
1 1/2 cups sifted cake flour
1/4 tsp. salt
6 egg whites
3/4 tsp. cream of tarter

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg yolks till thick and creamy and lemon colored. Add water and continue beating till very thick. Gradually beat in sugar, then extract. Fold in flour sifted with salt, a little at a time. Beat egg whites till foamy, add cream of tarter and beat until they form glossy peaks. Fold into egg yolk mixture. Bake in ungreased angle cake pan. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes. Invert pan to cool.
