1⁄4 teaspoon garlic powder
1⁄4 teaspoon onion powder
1⁄4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1⁄4 teaspoon dried oregano
1⁄2 teaspoon paprika
1 1⁄2 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 pound organic pastured ground beef
1 package 8 oz. tortilla chips
1⁄2 head lettuce, chopped
2 diced tomatoes
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1⁄2 cup chopped onion
3⁄4 cup taco sauce

Directions:

1. First, make the taco seasoning. In a small bowl, mix together chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, red pepper flakes, oregano, paprika, cumin, salt and pepper.
2. In a large cast iron skillet over medium high heat, add the ground beef and taco seasoning and saute for 5 to 10 minutes, or until well browned. Drain excess fat.
3. Place tortilla chips on a large plate. Layer with the beef, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onion and taco sauce.
