2 cups sugar
1 cup shortening
1/2 cup sour milk or buttermilk
2 beaten eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. lemon extract
5 cups sifted flour
Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening, add beaten eggs, then soda with sour milk, salt, extract and flour. Roll thin, and bake in oven @ 375º for 5 minutes.
