7 - 8 Mirlitons
4 small onions
4 bell pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 cups sugar
2 1/2 cups vinegar
1/2 teaspoon tumeric
1/4 teaspoon crab boil

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and slice mirliton - drain for 5 to 6 hours.Cut up onions, peppers, add to mirliton and stir. Pour vinegar, sugar, tumeric, crab boil, salt into pot and bring to a boil. Fill sterile jars with vegetable mix and pour liquid over and seal. Give hot water bath to keep for a long shelf life or just keep in refrigerator after cooling.
