1/2 cup shortening (I use butter)
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 cup evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 cups flour
1/2 tsp.soda
1 tsp.salt
Directions:
Directions:
Mix in order given. Let dough sit about 15 minutes. Drop by spoon. Bake@375º for 10-11 minutes or until light brown. When cool frost with the following glaze.

Frosting:
3/4 cup butter
3 cups powdered sugar
1/4+1/8 cup evaporated milk
a little vanilla
Melt butter until golden brown, add sugar and milk. Frost cookies
