2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
2 sticks butter
1 cup water
1/4 cup cocoa
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs

Directions:
mix together flour, sugar, salt. set aside, heat on stove butter water cocoa, bring to a boil then add to flour mix.
add to flour buttermilk, and vanilla, stir well and add the eggs. mix well. pour into a greased sheet pan bake 375º
for 20 min. icing for cake:
1/2 cup butter
2 bars baking chocolate, 6 tbsp. milk
1 lb. powdered sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla
bring butter, chocolate bar, milk to almost a boil
add powdered sugar and vanilla.
pour over cake while it is still hot.
