2 cups applesauce
2 cups black walnuts
2 boxes raisins
3 cups brown sugar
5 eggs
5 cups plain flour
3 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. cloves
2 sticks margarine

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar, butter and eggs. Mix flour, nuts, raisins and spices together. Heat applesauce; then add soda to applesauce. Add to other mixture and mix well. Bake 3 hours at 250º. Makes 2 cakes. Use tube pans. Wrap in foil while warm. Put in freezer for 3 weeks.
