1 pound groud beef
5 cups water
1 cup sliced carrots or baby carrots
3 medium potatoes peeled and cubed
1 medium onion chopped
6 beef boullion cubes
1/4 tsp seasoned pepper
1/4 tsp dried oregano
1 can green beans drained

Directions:
In a large saucepan, brown beef, drain. Add the next ten ingredients, bring to a boil. Reduce heat cover and simmer about 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Add beans, cover and simmer 15 minutes longer or until beans are tender

You can use Jiffy Mix or Bisquick to make dumplings with your soup. When the potatoes are almost done add the dumplings right on top of the soup, cover and cook according to package directions.
