Ingredients:  
1 1/4 c. boiling water poured over 1 c. oatmeal
(Let Cool)
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
(Stir above ingredients together.)
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
(Cream together)

Topping:
4 t. butter, melted
2/3 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. coconut
1/2 c. nuts, chopped (I use pecans)

Directions:
Directions:
Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and stir. Add the cooled oats and beat well. Pour into 13x9 pan or dish. Mix topping and spread on top. Bake 350 for 35 minutes.
