"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 cup water
orange peel from two oranges, chopped
3 lbs. walnuts
1 lb. almonds
1 lb. round nuts (like hazelnuts)
small box or a handful of raisins (to taste)
2 squares bittersweet chocolate
pinch cinnamon
2 lbs. honey
1/2 cup sugar
4-5 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º F.

Boil 1 cup of water with the orange peel and sugar (about 10-15 minutes or until all the liquid is absorbed).

Grease and flour 4 to 5 small loaf pans.

Mix all ingredients except the flour. Add flour slowly and mix. You want the ingredients to hold together, but not be very dry. Mix on a table or in a huge bowl - you need to mix the ingredients with both your hands.

Pour batter into the loaf pans. Cover each with foil and bake at 350º F for about 1 hour. When close to an hour remove foil and check.

Personal Notes:
If round nuts can't be found, you can substitute other types. This is an expensive cake, but well worth it and it goes a long way.
