3 ounces chocolate of choice (bittersweet/semi-sweet/german)
1/2 cup butter
1 cup light brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 large eggs beaten
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
1 cup chocolate chips (semi/milk or half and half)
1 cup walnuts or pecans -optional

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350
Melt chocolate and butter - take off heat.
Add eggs and mix thoroughly.
Add flour, cocoa and vanilla. Stir in chocolate chips & nuts.
Bake in 8" square pan for 20 to 25 minutes.

Another Sunset winner we modify to taste. Barb likes darker chocolate, Erin & Leigh milk and we discovered German chocolate gives these dense delights rich undercurrents of flavor. Cut em small - they pack a punch!
