1 pk beans
2 quarts water
1 sliced onion
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp.vinegar
1/2 tsp. mustard
1 tbsp. sugar
1/4 cup molasses
1/2 cup ketchup
black pepper
hot water as needed
1 piece salt pork or bacon slices
4 wieners cut up

Directions:
Soak beans overnight then rinse beans in cold water. cover heat to boiling simmer for 30 minutes. drain keep liquid place onions slices at bottom of casserole dish mix seasoning and turn into pot. add beans and hot liquid to water to cover. arrange salt pork slices on top cover and bake in slow oven at 250 degrees for 7 hours. at the end of 4 hours remove 1 cup beans and mashed then stir back into remaining beans. carefully cover and continue to bake. adding liquid additional just covered 1 hour. before serving
