1 box white cake mix
3/4 cup shortening
1 box dry powdered jello mix
1 cup mashed strawberries
1 cup water

Icing

Half bag powdered sugar
1/2 to 1 cup mashed strawberries
1/2 butter softened
Mix and spread onto cooled cake.
Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350.
Mix all ingredients. Place in 13x9x2 oblong pan.
Bake for about 30-40 minutes. Remove from oven and cool completely.
