1 1/2 sticks of butter softened
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1 3/4 cup flour
1/2 cup baking cocoa
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 bag semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:

Heat oven to 375.
In large bowl beat butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla on medium speed with mixer until creamy. Add eggs and beat well.
Stir together flour, cocoa, baking soda and baking powder. Gradually add to butter mixture, beating just until blended. Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 7-8 minutes.
