1 cup butter Cream butter and sugar together. Beat in eggs. Add molasses and sifted dry ingredients. Roll into balls, dip in sugar, place on cookie sheet and flatten with a glass. Put into 375 oven for 15 18 minutes. Makes 5 dozen.

2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp cloves
2 tsp ginger
