1-1/2 cup raisins
3 tablespoons brandy
1 cup butter,soft
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg
1-1/2 cups flour
1 cup oats - finely ground
1 cup old-fashioned whole oats
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt.
1-1/2 cups
,pecans ,chopped

Directions:
Directions:
1. Soak the raisins in brandy, which has been heated. Cover with plastic wrap to allow the raisins to plump. Set aside.
2/ In a large bowl, mix the butter with the sugars until the dough is light. Add the vanilla and egg and mix well.
3 Combine the flour, oats, baking soda, and salt. Stir into the dough. Add the raisins.
4. Refrigerate the dough for an hr. Preheat the oven to 350º. Measure the dough, into tbsp-size balls and flatten slightly. Bake the cookies on greased cookie sheets for 8-12 minutes.
