2 1/2 C. sifted Flour
2 1/2 t, Baking Powder
1/2 t. Salt
1/2 C. Butter or other
1 C. Sugar
1 Egg, unbeaten
1/2 C. Milk
2 C. Bluberries

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour once, measure, add Bakling Powder, and Salt and sift again. Cream Butter thoroughly, add Sugar gradually and cream together well. Add egg and beat very thoroughly. Add flour, alternately with Milk, a small amount at a time beating after each addition until smooth. This makes a stiff batter. Fold in Bluberries. Turn into greased 12 X
8 X 2 pan, spreading evenly. Bake at 350º 45 min.

Kate Smith was a radio star and made "God Bless America" so famous. When the radio came on and you heard that song, you knew it was her!! This was in the 1938-1940's.. and everyone listened to her beautiful voice. Thank you, Kate !
