Lg Can Pumpkin. (about 28 oz.).
1 1/2 Cups firmly packed light brown sugar.
4 eggs well beaten.
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine melted.
1/4 Cup dark cooking molasses.
1 Tbsp. Pumpkin Pie spice.
1 1/4 tsp. salt.
1 1/4 Cup evaporated milk.
2 pie shells

Directions:

Mix all ingredients. Pour into pie shells in 2 9" pie plates. Bake in a pre-heated, very hot oven (450 º) on bottom rack for 10 minutes. Reduce heat quickly to 325º by opening oven door for about 3 minutes. Continue baking for 45 minutes or until filling is firm and knife inserted comes out clean.
