Bacon Chicken Quiche Recipe

1 pie crust baked in large deep dish pie pan
1 cup diced cooked chicken - small pieces
8 slices of bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
2 green onions, diced
1/4 cup red pepper, diced
1 1/2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese that has been tossed with 1 tsp. of flour,
3 eggs
1/2 c. heavy cream
1/2 c. milk
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. dry mustard

Place chicken,bacon,onion & peppers in pie shell.
Top with cheddar cheese.
Mix together and pour other ingredients into pie pan.
Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
Remove from oven and place 8 pieces of fresh asparagus, trimmed to 4 1/2 inches, on quiche in spoke pattern. Return to oven and continue baking for another 20 minutes.
Let set for a few minutes before serving
