4 jars (8 ounces each) oysters, drained
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. pepper
t tsp. fresh thyme
6 cups milk
2 cups (or more, up to 4 cups) heavy cream
3 tbsp. butter
1 cup chopped fresh parsley
Paprika for garnish

Directions:
Directions:
Do not cut up oysters. In skillet, melt 2 tbsp. butter; add oysters, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper and thyme. Simmer about 5 minutes, covered.

In large pot, heat milk and cream until almost boiling. Add 3 tbsp. butter, stirring until melted. Add oyster mixture and fresh parsley; garnish with paprika. Serves 8, but only invite 6.
