Ingredients for Cake:
2 C. Flour
2 C. Sugar
2 Sticks Oleo (1/2 lb.)
4 T. Cocoa
1 C. Water
1 t. Vanilla
1/2 C. Buttermilk (I freeze Buttermilk in small amounts
and thaw when I make this cake)
1 t. Soda
1/2 t. Cinnamon
2 Eggs

Ingredients for Frosting:
1 Stick Oleo or Butter (1/4 lb.)
4 T. Cocoa
6 T. Milk
1 Box Powdered Sugar
1 C. Pecans (chopped)
1 t. Vanilla

Cake Directions:
Put oleo, cocoa, water, vanilla in pot on stove and bring to a boil. Stir.
While still hot pour over the flour and sugar. Beat well. Add buttermilk, soda, and cinnamon. Stir.
Add 2 eggs and stir.
Pour batter into a long greased & floured cake pan.
Bake at 400 º for 25 minutes.
Cool.

Frosting Directions:
Put 1 stick oleo, 4 T. Cocoa and 6 T. Milk in pot on stove and bring to a boil.
Remove from stove.
Add 1 box of Powdered Sugar, 1 C. Nuts, and 1 t. Vanilla.
Stir QUICKLY and well. Add a touch more milk if necessary.
Pour over cake.
