Kohlrabi is German for cabbage turnip.

3 or 4 kohlrabi (cut in round shapes)
2 cups zucchini (grated)
1 cup carrots
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 tsp cayenne
1/2 tsp onion salt
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/4 tsp ginger
1/8 tsp curry powder
2 cups heavy cream
6 tbsp cornstarch

Directions:
Directions:
Put Kohlrabi in 2 quarts of water. Bring to boil and simmer. Leaves can be washed and stewed in another pan and added to soup stock. Add zucchini and carrots. Cook until tender; about 15 minutes. Add seasonings. Take cream and cornstarch and mix until thickened. Gently add to stock. Serve immediately with crackers.
