1 1/2 C canned pumpkin
3/4 C sugar
1/2 t salt
1/2 t ginger
1 t cinnamon
1/4 t nutmeg
3 slightly beaten eggs
1 1/4 C milk
1 6 oz can evaporated milk

Directions:
Directions:
Thoroughly combine pumpkin, sugar, salt, and spices. Add eggs, milk, and evaporated milk. Blend. Pour into pie crust. Bake 10 minutes at 450, then an additional 45 minutes at 325 or until toothpick comes out clean.

Mom made this change: only 15-20 minutes at 325
