Personal Notes:
When I was a child, my parents and my sister and I lived in the farm house with my great grandmother, and my grandparents. My grandmother was so proud of her garden and especially her tomato crop. She saved the tomato seeds each year and planted so many that we had tomatoes for every meal including breakfast. We ate tomato biscuits, tomato sandwiches, tomato pudding, tomato soup and we drank tomato juice. My mamaw loved working in her garden. Neighbors came to admire her garden. She never wrote down her recipes so this is my version of my mamaw's well-loved tomato gravy.
