3 Tablespoon shortenings
1 1/2 cups all - purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking power
3/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup milk or water

Directions:
Directions:
Cut shortening into flour, baking power and salt until mixture resembles fine crumbs.Stir in milk. Drop dough by spoonfuls into chicken and stew. Cook uncovered 10 minutes. Cover and cook about 10 minutes longer. (making sure your Dumplings are done) I roll my dough out and cut into strips for chicken and dumpling's.
