2 8 ounce packages cream cheese softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
20 caramels
2 tblsp milk
1/2 cup pecans chopped
1 ready to use graham cracker crust (6 ounces or 9 inches)
3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla, with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add eggs; mix well until blended. Melt caramels with milk in saucepan on low heat, stirring frequently until smooth. Spread caramel mixture on bottom of crust, sprinkle pecans over mixture. Pour cheesecake batter over pecans. Bake in a 35 degree oven for 40 min or until set. Cool, refrigerate 3 hours or overnight. Before serving, place chips in heavy duty zipper style plastic bag, place flat in microwave oven, with chips in single layer. Cook on high (100 power for 2 to 4 minutes, massaging bag every min, just until chips are melted. Drizzle melted chocolate over cheesecake.
