2 3/4 C flour
1 1/2 tsp ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 C butter, softened
3/4 C dark brown sugar
1 large egg
3/4 C molasses

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.
Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a bowl, whisk flour, spices, soda, and salt.
In another bowl, beat butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg, molasses, then flour mixture half at a time.
Drop dough by 1/4 cup 3 inches apart.
Sprinkle with sugar.
Bake 10-12 minutes until soft in centers.
Let stand 5 minutes.
