1 (.25 oz) pkg. quick yeast
1 tsp white sugar
1 c very warm water
2½ cups bread flour
2 Tbs. olive oil
1 tsp. salt

1. Preheat oven to 450. In a small bowl, dissolve yeast & sugar in warm water. Let stand until creamy, about 10 minutes. (set it on top of the oven while it’s preheating and it goes faster)
2. Set up your stand mixer with the dough hook (or work it with a wooden paddle and your hands). Mix flour, salt, yeast mixture & oil. Beat until smooth. Let rest for 5 minutes.
3. Turn dough out onto lightly floured pizza stone. (or lightly floured surface). Pat into a round (or divide for individuals to make their own crust!) If you have patted on a flat surface, at this point transfer the crust to a very lightly oiled pizza pan. Spread with desired toppings & bake 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown. Let pizza cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Be sure to use bread flour for this yummy crust. It is much more elastic and easy to pat out. The kids will enjoy it so much more when making their own individual funky-shaped pizzas! And Mom loves the ease when doing it herself. Love this recipe also because we control the quality and cost of ingredients in the recipe - less sodium, etc. This recipe makes one pizza crust.
