1 egg, beaten
1/ 2 c brown sugar
1/ 2 c sugar
1 tsp vanilla
A pinch of salt
1/ 2 c flour sifted with 1 tsp baking powder
2 medium-size apples, pared, then chopped or sliced
1/ 2 c pecans or walnuts, chopped

Directions:

Beat egg in a bowl and then add remaining ingredients and mix well. Spread all in a greased 9-inch pie plate and bake for 30 minutes at 350º.

It looks like an apple pie and it tastes delicious but without the hassle of making a crust. Only two apples fill a nine-inch pie plate.
