Saffron Rice Recipe

1 cup basmati rice
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp Saffron
4 cardamoms
2 cloves
4 tbsp butter

Directions:
Directions:
Add 1 cup of water, the saffron and cook the rice in a rice cooker. After the rice is cooked and cooled down separate the grains lightly with a fork. In a saucepan, heat the butter when it melts add the cloves and cardamom till the spices swell up (this will flavor the butter). Add the cooked rice, sugar and 1/2 cup water to the melted butter cover lower the heat to low and cook for 15 minutes. Before serving fluff up the rice with a fork. If you want it richer add a pat of butter on top of the rice.
