1/2 flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1 teaspoon
1 cup water (then ad as you need)

In a skellet or deep fryer put oil. Mix cornmeal, flour, salt, onion and baking soda. stir in water.mix real good.Drop by spoonfuls into hot oil.Fry until brown
