1 lg chicken, cut up
2 bay leaves (optional)
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 c. chopped celery (optional)
1/2 stick butter or margarine
2-4 oz. chopped pimientos
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
16 oz. extra fine noodles
garlic salt
pepper
green peas (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Place chicken in large stew pot with enough water to cover generously. Add bay leaves and some salt. Stew chicken and bay leaves in covered pot until chicken is tender. Remove from liquid (reserving broth). Discard bay leaves and debone chicken, tearing into pieces. Saute onion and celery in butter until onion is transparent. Cook noodles in reserved broth until almost done. Add onion/celery mixture, pimentos and soup to noodles without draining any extra broth. Season to taste with garlic salt and pepper; add peas (optional). Pour into 13 x 9 baking pan and bake at 350º until bubbly.
