2 large Granny Smith Apples, peeled and cored
2 cans "extra butter" biscuits
1 cup butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 can of Mountain Dew (12 fluid oz.)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º Grease a 9 x 13 inch baking pan.
Cut each apple into 8 wedges.
Flatten or roll out 16 biscuits, and wrap biscuit around each apple wedge and place in greased dish, seam side down
Melt butter in small saucepan and stir in sugar and cinnamon.
Pour over apple dumplings.
Pour Mt. Dew over dumplings.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until golden brown.

You can also use the canned crescent rolls for this recipe, but I prefer the biscuits.
