1 medium onion
3 T. butter
1 lb. ground beef
3/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
6 c. raw, shredded cabbage
1 can tomato soup

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onion in butter. Add ground beef, salt and pepper. Brown meat mixture.
Place 3 cups cabbage into bottom of baking dish, add meat mixture, and cover with remaining 3 cups cabbage. Pour tomato soup over the top, cover and bake 1 to 1 1/2 hours at 350º.
