1 & 3/4 C graham cracker crumbs
1/4 C finely chopped walnuts & 1/2 t. cinnamon
1/2 C butter (melted)
3 well beaten eggs
2 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese softened
1 C. sugar & 1/4 t vanilla
1/2 t. almond extract & 3 C sour cream
Glaze:
1 pint fresh strawberries
1 C water
1 & 1/2 T cornstarch
1/2 C. sugar

Thoroughly mix ingredients for crust
Press on bottom and sides of a 9 in. springform pan; Sides should be about 1.75" high
Combine: eggs, cream cheese, sugar salt, vanilla and almond extract & beat with elec mixer till set
Chill thoroughly ( 4-5 hrs.) Filling will be soft
Glaze:
Crush 1 C strawberries; Add water
Cook for 2 minutes
Pour liquid through a sieve
Mix cornstarch with sugar
Stir into hot berry mix
Bring to a slow boil stirring constantly cooking till mixture is thick and clear; Cool to room temp
Place remaining strawberries atop a chilled cheesecake; Pour glaze over
Chill 2 more hrs.
