8 oz. box elbow noodles, cooked and drained
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 medium onion, chopped
1/2 small green pepper, chopped
1/4 cup ketchup

* you can add: 1 cup of cheese, 1 can whole kernel corn, 1 can veg-all, 1 tsp. Italian spices or basil, etc., etc., etc.

Brown beef and drain. Add onion, green pepper. Cook till vegetables are soft. Add noodles and ketchup and mix.

This is called slop because in the Alabama kitchen there was a "slop bucket" used for holding leftovers, onion and potato peels, etc., and taken out to "slop" or feed the pigs. This slop recipe is called that because you can throw anything in it, and it will be good! (see ingredients below)
