1 c flour
1 tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 c margarine
4 oz cream cheese, softened

FILLING
1 egg
1/2 c brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 tsp margarine
1/2 c chopped, toasted pecans
24 pecan halves for decoration (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first ingredients together to form dough. Refrigerate about 10 minutes.
On a lightly floured surface, roll dough out 3/8 inch thick and cut with a fluted cutter, making 24 rounds. (or cut into 24 balls & press into pan) Carefully line each cup with a pastry round, gently pressing onto bottom and side of cups.
In a medium bowl, beat eggs until foamy, add sugar, vanilla and melted margarine. Divide chopped nuts into 24 dough lined cups. Carefully ladle filling into each cup, top with pecan half, if desired. Bake until tops are puffed & filling is set, about 20 minutes. Serve warm or cool completely.
Store in airtight container.
