1 2/3 c uncooked elbow macaroni
1 medium chopped green pepper
1 medium chopped onion
1 lb ground beef
1 pkg taco seasoning mix
water
8 slices American cheese
1 can (15 oz) mild chili beans in sauce, undrained
1 can (14 1/2 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 c frozen whole kernel corn
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Cook pasta according to package directions, drain.
Cook ground beef, green pepper and onion till done. Drain. Add taco seasoning mix and amount of water listed on package. Continue cooking to package directions.
Combine chopped cheese, macaroni, seasoned meat mixture, chili beans, tomatoes, corn and salt, mix well. Spoon pasta mixture into baking pan. Bake 30 minutes. Top with cheese shapes, bake 1-2 minutes or until cheese just begins to melt.

Use large flower cookie cutter to make shapes in the cheese. The scrap pieces are used in the meat mixture.
