2 pkgs dry yeast
1/2 c lukewarm water
1 1/2 c milk
2 tsp salt
1/2 c sugar
1/4 c canola oil
1 egg, slightly beaten
5 1/2 c plain flour

Directions:
Directions:
Put all dry ingredients in mixing bowl.Add wet ingredients, mix until well blended. Put on floured surface and knead until it becomes satiny in appearance.
Shape into rolls and put on greased baking sheet.
Cover and let rise until double in bulk.
Preheat oven to 425 º. Bake for 15 to 25 minutes, depending on size and shape of roll, until brown.
For a soft tender crust, brush with soft butter as the rolls come out of the oven. Remove rolls from pan immediately to avoid sogginess.
