Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Mom had her own lettuce patch which was ready to pick in Spring. She also grew her own green onions. She would fix the wilted lettuce with corn bread, fried tatters and soup beans. Dad always wanted a slice of thick streaked bacon fried. Mom also grew her own banana peppers, and they would have these with their supper. This was one of Mom and Dad's favorite meals.
