1 pkg. (8 oz.) elbow macaroni, cooked & drained
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. mustard
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 cup celery, chopped
1 cup green or red sweet pepper, chopped
1/2 cup onion, chopped

Directions:

In a large bowl, stir together the mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard, sugar, salt and pepper until smooth. Add macaroni, celery, peppers, and onion. Toss to coat well. Chill.

I remember when Uncle Buck was hurt in a car accident. I think he was a passenger, and the car left the road, landing on it's top in someone's yard on Dry Fork. I remember our driving down there to see where the accident happened. It almost killed him, and he was hospitalized for a long while. The scar or indention in his forehead was a result.. He never looked the same after that. Dad took me to the hospital to see him, and he told them I was Uncle Buck's child so they would let me in to visit. It was scary seeing him there, all broken up and battered.
