1 pkg. yellow cake mix
3 eggs
1 c. mashed ripe bananas, (about 3 bananas)
1 c. sour cream
1/4 c. oil
1 pkg (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. butter, softened
4 c. powdered sugar
1 cup walnut pieces (optional)

Preheat oven to 350º.

Cake:
Line cupcake pans with 24 paper cups; set aside. Beat cake mix, eggs, bananas, sour cream, and oil in large bowl with electric mixer on low speed just until moistened, stopping frequently to scrape side of bowl. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour into prepared pan.

Bake for 20 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely.

Frosting:
Beat Cream cheese and butter in large bowl with mixer on medium speed until well blended. Gradually add sugar, beating well after each addition.

Remove cupcakes from pan and frost, sprinkle walnuts on top of cupcakes.

Store in refrigerator.
