1 c sugar (plus 2 tablespoons)
1 c self-rising flour
½ c melted margarine
1 can (28 oz) sliced peaches

Preheat oven to 350º
Drain peaches and set aside. In another bowl combine 1 cup sugar, flour, and ¼ cup melted margarine. Sprinkle one-third this mixture in bottom of baking dish. Add the peaches and juice. If juice does not cover peaches add just enough water to cover them. Top with remaining flour mixture. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of sugar and ¼ cup melted margarine on top. Bake for 30 - 40 minutes until brown and bubbly.
