1 pkg. yeast, 1/2 C warm water, 5 C flour, 1 tsp. baking soda, 3 T baking powder, 1 tsp. salt, 3 T sugar, 3/4 C shortening, 2 C buttermilk.

Blend together yeast & water. Cut shortening into flour mixture and add wet mixture. Work till moist, put into greased bowl. Refrigerate. Roll out as many as you want. Cook 8 - 10 minutes or until golden brown. At 450.º
